A simple idea from a real hunting situation

OXA innovations is a Finnish hunting equipment company founded in 2024 by two active hunters. We develop practical, high-quality products based on challenges and ideas that come from real hunting situations.

The idea for OXA was born during a capercaillie hunt in North Karelia, Finland, in 2024. We had left our binoculars in the car, and while searching the treetops through a rifle scope, supporting the rifle steadily against a frozen tree was anything but easy.

That situation led to a simple question: could there be an easier and faster way to stabilize a rifle against a tree or another vertical surface?

That question became the starting point for OXA SpikePod®—a new type of shooting stabilizer developed for real hunting situations.

Built for real hunting situations

Our goal is to turn practical ideas from the field into simple and reliable hunting equipment. We want our products to be simple to use, lightweight and easy to carry—even on long hunting trips—compatible with a wide range of firearms, and versatile enough for different hunting situations and shooting positions.

SpikePod is not designed to replace traditional shooting supports, but to complement them. It creates an entirely new product category: a rifle-mounted shooting stabilizer that stays attached to the rifle without getting in the way and can be deployed quickly whenever needed.

This principle continues to guide the development of every OXA product: practical equipment designed for hunters, built to perform and made to last.

From the very beginning, we made a clear decision: OXA products would be developed and manufactured in Finland. All product development has been carried out in-house, and through our previous work, we already knew trusted local manufacturing partners with the expertise needed to bring the product to life. Keeping production close allows us to oversee every stage of the process—from material selection and manufacturing to assembly and final testing. This helps us ensure consistent quality and reliable performance in demanding conditions.
