OXA SpikePod Hunter L offers the same core functions and operating principles as the Hunter model, but is designed for firearms with wider stocks or fore-ends. Typical applications include rifles fitted with wider GRS or KKC stocks, as well as certain combination guns and drillings. Hunter L is intended for stock widths over 45 mm at the intended installation point. Built around OXA’s patented shooting-support technology, it weighs only 97 g and remains attached to the firearm, ready for rapid deployment whenever additional support is needed.

SpikePod turns trees, stumps, logs, shooting towers, hunting blinds, building corners and other natural or man-made surfaces into stable shooting support. Its two independently deployable spikes provide support against vertical, angled and horizontal surfaces from standing, kneeling, sitting and prone shooting positions.

The compact design stays out of the way while carrying and handling the firearm. SpikePod can be deployed quickly with one hand and used from either side of the firearm. Hunter L also features an integrated attachment point for a carrying sling.

In addition to its integrated shooting-support function, OXA SpikePod Hunter L creates a versatile mounting platform for selected accessories and additional support systems.

Installation is quick and simple. SpikePod Hunter L is primarily mounted to the firearm’s standard underside sling swivel stud. If the firearm does not have a suitable sling swivel stud underneath the stock or fore-end, one can be added to most suitable firearm stocks or fore-ends. With suitable adapters, SpikePod Hunter L can also be mounted to Picatinny, M-LOK and UIT/Anschütz rails, as well as to a QD sling socket.

Hunter L -model is compatible with hunting rifles, combination guns and drillings with a stock width of more than 45 mm at the intended installation point.

Compatibility is determined primarily by the stock width, stock geometry, available mounting interface and installation position—not by a specific firearm brand or model.

The primary installation method is attachment to a standard underside sling swivel stud with max diameter 10 mm. For firearms without a suitable mounting point, an additional sling swivel stud can usually be installed. SpikePod can also be mounted directly to a suitable stock or handguard using screws. Any drilling, sling swivel stud installation or modification of the stock or handguard should be assessed and carried out by a qualified gunsmith.

Selected M-LOK, ARCA, UIT/Anschütz, Picatinny and QD sling socket interfaces can also be used with compatible adapters sold separately.
