OXA SpikePod Hunter is a versatile shooting stabilizer built around OXA’s patented shooting-support technology. As the world’s lightest shooting support, it is designed to stay on the firearm and be instantly available whenever additional support is needed.

With SpikePod, you can turn your surroundings—trees, stumps, logs, shooting towers, hunting blinds, building corners and other natural or man-made surfaces—into stable shooting support. Its two independently operated spikes let you use vertical, angled and horizontal surfaces from standing, kneeling, sitting and prone shooting positions, with support available from either side of the firearm.

The compact design stays out of the way while carrying and handling the firearm. SpikePod deploys quickly with one hand and features an integrated attachment point for a carrying sling.

In addition to its shooting-support function, OXA SpikePod Hunter creates a versatile mounting platform for selected accessories and additional support systems.

Hunter is suitable for most traditional hunting rifles with a stock width of up to 45 mm at the installation point. For wider stocks, see the OXA SpikePod Hunter L.

Installation is quick and simple. Hunter is primarily mounted to a standard underside sling swivel stud. If the firearm does not have a suitable mounting point, a sling swivel stud can usually be added. With suitable adapters, Hunter can also be installed on Picatinny, M-LOK and UIT/Anschütz rails, as well as QD sling sockets.

OXA SpikePod Hunter is designed for firearms with a stock width of up to 45 mm at the intended installation point.
Compatibility is determined primarily by the stock width, stock geometry, available mounting interface and installation position—not by a specific firearm brand or model.

The primary installation method is attachment to a standard underside sling swivel stud with max diameter 10 mm. For firearms without a suitable mounting point, an additional sling swivel stud can usually be installed. SpikePod can also be mounted directly to a suitable stock or handguard using screws. Any drilling, sling swivel stud installation or modification of the stock or handguard should be assessed and carried out by a qualified gunsmith.

Selected M-LOK, ARCA, UIT/Anschütz, Picatinny and QD sling socket interfaces can also be used with compatible adapters sold separately.

Measure the stock width at the intended installation point and use the printable OXA Fit Template to confirm whether Hunter or Hunter L is the correct model.

Accessories mounted directly to the SpikePod

OXA Picatinny Accessory Rail – attaches directly to the SpikePod and provides a Picatinny interface for compatible lights, cameras, bipods, tripods and other accessories.
